Jumătate dintre alegătorii britanici sunt în favoarea reintegrării Regatului Unit în Uniunea Europeană, potrivit celui mai recent sondaj

A recent poll indicates that half of British voters support the UK's return to the EU, following Prime Minister Andy Burnham's comments on considering all options regarding EU relations. Despite this, Labour ministers express concerns about reigniting Brexit divisions. Burnham stated that Brexit has caused more harm than good, and the poll suggests that renegotiating the UK's relationship with the EU could boost Labour's electoral prospects if a new referendum is promised. However, some Labour MPs worry that even discussing this option could politically backfire, especially in constituencies that voted for Brexit. The Labour Party's current electoral program excludes joining the single market or customs union, meaning any significant changes would need to be voted on in the next elections. Support for rejoining the EU is strong among Labour, Liberal Democrats, and SNP, while Conservatives and Reform UK oppose it.
