In Botoșani, over 130,000 individuals received financial support from the social protection system, totaling over 56 million lei in August. The beneficiaries include children, parents, and people with disabilities, reflecting diverse social categories. The largest group consists of children receiving state allowances, with nearly 25.3 million lei distributed to 72,959 children. Additionally, support for people with disabilities amounted to over 10.6 million lei for 17,667 beneficiaries. The Minimum Income Program provided assistance to 7,267 individuals, highlighting the varied nature of social aid in the region. The data illustrates that the beneficiaries are not solely reliant on traditional social assistance.
