The arrest decision followed a disagreement between two judges, necessitating Mirea's involvement for a final ruling. Mirea does not own property in Ilfov, which is why he receives additional financial support for housing. His latest asset declaration shows he also received over 54,000 lei in outstanding salary rights, and he has not been involved in any scandals.
