„Jos cu țarul”. Protest la Moscova / S-a cerut alegeri libere și eliberarea deținuților politici / Zeci de persoane au fost arestate
Around 60 people were detained in Moscow during a protest that turned anti-Kremlin, demanding free elections and the release of political prisoners. The demonstration marked the 33rd anniversary of the 1993 constitutional crisis in Russia. Participants chanted slogans against political repression and called for fair elections, with some explicitly targeting President Putin. Although the protest was authorized, detentions increased as the rhetoric became more critical of the government. Notably, the Communist Party, typically not a direct opponent of Putin, saw its traditional commemoration evolve into a politically charged event. This protest occurred amid ongoing tensions related to the war in Ukraine and escalating confrontations with the West.
