„Jos cu țarul”. Protest anti-Kremlin la Moscova, urmat de zeci de rețineri

Around 60 people were detained in Moscow after an authorized protest turned openly anti-Kremlin, with participants demanding free elections and the release of political prisoners. The demonstration marked the 33rd anniversary of the 1993 constitutional crisis in Russia. Although the Communist Party organizes annual commemorations, this year's protest took on a more political tone, with slogans against political repression and calls for fair elections. Initial detentions began with about 20 individuals, escalating as the protest's anti-Kremlin sentiment grew. The Communist Party, while a significant parliamentary opposition, typically does not directly oppose President Putin, making this protest notable amid ongoing tensions with the West and the war in Ukraine.
