Joheirry Mola, a 24-year-old from the Dominican Republic, was crowned Miss World 2026 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. This marks the country's second win in the pageant's history, following their first victory in 1982. Mola is a teacher and journalist, and she founded an educational project for vulnerable children. The competition featured 111 contestants, with Spain's Elisabeth Reynés and Malaysia's Taanusiya Chetty finishing second and third, respectively. Mola emphasized the importance of education during the final stage of the contest, which celebrated 75 years of Miss World.
