Jerome France set a new record and won the 2026 Trofeul Sinaia, becoming the first driver to secure the unique trophy three times consecutively. Driving the Nova NP01, he achieved the fastest times in both official runs, finishing with a total time of 2:54.581. Emil Ghinea and Dragoș Savloschi followed in second and third places, respectively. The event attracted around 20,000 spectators and featured 89 participants. France's victory marks a historic achievement in the competition's nearly century-long history, as he is the first to win three consecutive times. He has also secured six national titles in recent years and is leading the current championship.
