Jaguar has officially unveiled the Type 01, a four-door electric GT that aims to reposition the brand in the luxury car market. The model boasts up to 1,016 hp and a maximum range of approximately 450 miles. It features a unique design inspired by the controversial Type 00 concept, including a long hood and oversized wheels. The Type 01 is powered by three electric motors, providing all-wheel drive and impressive acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds. The vehicle's architecture operates at 850 volts and is primarily made of aluminum. Inside, it offers advanced technology, including a 24-inch OLED screen and heated, ventilated seats with massage functions. The estimated price is around £125,000, with orders expected to start in early 2027.
