Italia: Un bilet de loterie în valoare de un milion de euro a fost recuperat de la gunoi după o operațiune de peste 24 de ore

A woman in southern Italy recovered a winning lottery ticket worth one million euros after mistakenly throwing it away. Local waste management employees conducted a search that lasted over a day to find the ticket. The woman realized her mistake after checking the ticket at the store, where she received a 'non-payable' message. A family member reminded her that her usual numbers were winning. Upon returning to the store, she learned the ticket had already been discarded. The waste management company traced the ticket's path and identified the garbage truck, which was taken to a sorting facility. After more than 24 hours, workers found the intact ticket among other waste. The woman was emotional upon receiving the news and agreed to cover the search costs, which were minor compared to her prize.
