Italia pune presiune pe bănci pentru bugetul de anul viitor. Statul ar putea încasa în plus până la 3 miliarde de euro

Italian banks may need to contribute up to 3 billion euros to the next year's budget to support tax cuts and increased spending. A proposed 5% profit tax could generate these funds for families and security measures. The Economy Minister justified this by highlighting the lack of competition in the banking sector. However, the proposal faces opposition from coalition partner Forza Italia, causing tensions within the government. The funds would supplement an estimated 12 billion euros expected from banks and insurance companies by 2028. Additionally, the League suggests energy companies should also contribute to mitigate rising energy costs.
