Italia emite cod roşu de caniculă pentru toate cele 27 de oraşe mari din ţară

Italy has issued a red alert for heatwave conditions across 27 major cities due to persistent temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius. This extreme heat poses health risks not only to vulnerable groups but also to healthy individuals. The alert spans from northern regions like Bolzano to southern areas such as Palermo, with some cities expecting temperatures over 40 degrees. The ongoing heat and drought are significantly impacting water levels in rivers and lakes, with the Po River showing notably low levels. The heatwave is expected to last until mid-August, although a slight temperature decrease is anticipated in the north soon.
