A third contingent of Romanian firefighters has departed for Greece to assist in wildfire monitoring and extinguishing efforts. This mission continues Romania's support to Greece, which began in 2022. The team will utilize firefighting equipment already deployed in Greece, including various specialized vehicles. Their actions are part of a European Union-funded program aimed at aiding communities affected by wildfires. Other countries, including the Czech Republic, France, and Moldova, are also contributing to these efforts.
