An agreement worth approximately 150 million euros for military vessels between Israeli defense companies and Cyprus is expected to be finalized soon. Israel Shipyards will supply the Cypriot Navy with ships equipped with advanced Rafael weapon systems. This collaboration is part of a broader effort to strengthen diplomatic and defense ties between Israel and Cyprus, especially amid regional tensions. Previous defense programs have also linked the two nations, including a patrol vessel provided by Israel Shipyards nearly a decade ago. The ongoing negotiations may lead to new commercial partnerships in defense production.
