Islanda a emis un ordin de expulzare a unor activiști care se opun vânătorii de balene

Icelandic authorities have ordered the deportation of 21 activists protesting against whaling, who were aboard the ship Bandero. The activists attempted to obstruct the whaling vessel Hvalur 9 but were intercepted by the coast guard. They have been banned from returning to Iceland for at least two years, with the ban extending to the Schengen area for non-EEA citizens. Iceland continues to allow commercial whaling, but a bill to ban it is expected this fall.
