Researchers confirmed his HSAM through remote testing, noting that while his memory recall is exceptional, other cognitive functions appear normal. The study highlights the involuntary nature of KCL's memories, which aligns with previous HSAM cases. This research sheds light on the unique characteristics of autobiographical memory.
