Ionel Rusen rămâne în arest preventiv în dosarul lui Călin Georgescu. Curtea de Apel i-a respins contestația

Ionel Rusen remains in preventive detention as the Bucharest Court of Appeal rejected his appeal in the Călin Georgescu fraud case. Both are accused of forming an organized crime group and committing serious fraud. Rusen's request for house arrest was denied, while Georgescu was placed under house arrest, a decision contested by DIICOT. The investigation began after a businessman claimed he was defrauded of 1.1 million euros in a failed loan scheme involving precious metals. Georgescu is also under investigation for allegedly attempting to destroy evidence in another case.
