Înzestrarea Armatei cu sisteme moderne antidronă va dura până la doi ani și jumătate, anunță Radu Miruță
Romania's interim Defense Minister Radu Miruță announced that the military's drone combat capabilities will be fully equipped in two and a half years. This decision comes amid increased Russian attacks near the Romanian border. The SAFE program has contracted new systems, including low-altitude radars and ground interception systems, to enhance defense. Miruță emphasized the urgency of these measures, noting the ongoing drone threats observed near Romania. Recent days saw over 100 drones detected, with some fragments reaching Romanian shores. An F-18 from Spain recently shot down a drone entering Romania from Moldova.
