The Romanian government has allocated 1.5 billion lei for water and sewage network expansion and modernization, addressing the needs of over one million citizens lacking these services. Minister Diana Buzoianu announced this funding during the inauguration of a project in Dumbrăvița, which received 31.7 million lei in non-reimbursable financing. The initiative aims to resolve infringement procedures against Romania for delays in providing essential utilities. The completed project includes a 25-kilometer sewage network and new pumping stations, contributing to sustainable water management.
