Investiție Sony TSMC de 6,4 miliarde dolari în Japonia

Sony Corp. and TSMC are in advanced talks for a 1 trillion yen investment in a new image sensor production facility in Japan, set to start in 2029. This joint venture aims to meet the growing demand in AI robotics and autonomous vehicles, while minimizing risk exposure for both companies. The project follows earlier discussions about expanding production lines at Sony's Kumamoto subsidiary. The new entity will have Sony as the majority shareholder and will benefit from government financial support.
