Nofar Energy has launched two large solar parks in Romania, Iepurești and Ghimpați, adding over 315 MWp to the national energy system. The Iepurești park is now the largest operational solar facility in the country, while Ghimpați contributes significantly to green energy production. Together, they will generate around 430 GWh annually, enough to power over 250,000 households. The projects were financed with €110 million from the EBRD and Raiffeisen Bank, and future plans include integrating battery storage systems. Nofar aims to enhance Romania's energy landscape and is committed to renewable energy development in the region.
