Investiție în Maramureș: Fabrică de reciclare a panourilor solare

Greensmalt plans to establish a solar panel recycling facility in Seini, Maramureș, marking the second such project in Romania. This follows the first factory opened in April 2025 in Brașov. The new facility aims to process one ton of panels per hour, slightly less than the Brașov plant's capacity. Greensmalt seeks non-repayable funding through the Regional Program for development. The site will cover 1,500 square meters and will include advanced processing lines to recover materials like glass, silicon, and metals from solar panels. The recycling process is expected to yield significant amounts of glass and other materials for reuse.
