Învestirea Guvernului Niculescu, test pentru alianța PNL-USR-UDMR. Bolojan și Hunor, dispuși să voteze noul Guvern. Fritz rămâne pe poziții și susține alegerile anticipate

Tensions within the PNL-USR-UDMR coalition are rising ahead of the vote for Romania's new government. Ilie Bolojan, the leader of PNL, indicated a potential agreement with designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu, a stance echoed by UDMR's Kelemen Hunor. In contrast, USR's Dominic Fritz stated that his party will not support a government lacking a clear parliamentary majority and continues to advocate for early elections. Fritz emphasized that while there are differing approaches between USR and PNL, collaboration remains possible. He believes that early elections are the only legitimate solution for a functioning government, as any current arrangements may not gain public trust.
