INVESTIGAȚIE Fraude medicale online în interesul Rusiei. Nicio alertă publică emisă de instituțiile din România

An investigation reveals that MGID and AdsKeeper, companies linked to Russian interests, have been collecting health data from Romanian internet users without consent. These firms have run ads on 117 Romanian websites, promoting dubious health products. Despite the alarming findings, Romanian authorities have not issued any public alerts regarding these practices. The investigation highlights the lack of response from health institutions in Romania, contrasting with actions taken in other countries. MGID claims to have ceased collaboration with Russian entities since 2022, but concerns remain about their operations and data collection methods.
