Intră în circulație primele trenuri electrice PESA. Prima ramă va fi introdusă pe relația București Nord - Constanța

The first electric trains from PESA will start operating on the Bucharest Nord - Constanța route on August 6, after months of inactivity. The initial service will include one train, Regio 8011, departing from Bucharest at 06:17 and arriving in Constanța at 11:06. Delays in launching the trains were due to maintenance facility issues that the manufacturer failed to complete on time. The contract for these trains is part of a larger agreement for 62 regional electric trains funded by the EU's Modernization Fund. Additional contracts for interregional trains have also been signed.
