Intervenție în premieră în România. A început demolarea etajelor distruse ale blocului din Rahova

Demolition work has begun on the upper floors of the building affected by the explosion in Rahova last October. This operation, deemed a technical first in Romania, aims to secure the structure by removing compromised levels. Initial images of the work were shared on a local Facebook group. The focus is on the 6th, 7th, and 8th floors, where the explosion damaged load-bearing walls, hindering access for teams. The Bucharest City Hall announced that a specialized technical solution will be implemented soon, allowing residents to safely retrieve essential belongings. Following the explosion on October 17, 2025, which resulted in three fatalities and 15 injuries, many apartments were damaged, leading to evacuations and temporary housing arrangements for affected residents. Three individuals were detained in connection with the criminal investigation after the incident.
