On August 9, lifeguards raised the red flag due to rough sea conditions, but some tourists continued swimming. Gendarmes joined the lifeguards to inform tourists about the dangers of swimming under such conditions. Two individuals were fined for ignoring the warning. Tragically, a drowning incident occurred in Mamaia Nord, resulting in a 56-year-old man's death. Authorities urge tourists to heed safety signals and respect lifeguard instructions to prevent further incidents.
