Intervenție cu două elicoptere Black Hawk la stingerea incendiului din Parcul Național Domogled - Valea Cernei. 423 de hectare, afectate

Firefighting teams have been reinforced to combat wildfires in Domogled National Park, which have affected 423 hectares of forest. The area is difficult to access, complicating ground interventions due to risks of accidents and falling trees. Two Black Hawk helicopters are actively dropping water on the fires, having released over 50 tons by 3 PM. Ground teams include 42 Romsilva employees, 50 firefighters, and several volunteers. The fire, which started on August 9, 2026, has spread rapidly due to the rugged terrain and dry conditions.
