Greek group Fourlis is restructuring its operations in Romania, having closed two Intersport stores due to challenging market conditions. Despite a 7.6% increase in sales to €284 million in the first half of the year, the company reported a net loss of €1.7 million, attributed to inflation and declining profitability. The group plans to optimize its network by closing underperforming stores and has budgeted €3.7 million for operational transformation and voluntary departures. The aim is to achieve annual savings of over €9 million by 2027.
