Two members of the Cîrpaci clan were arrested in Romania for organ trafficking and slavery, having previously been wanted in Germany. They allegedly forced a man to donate a kidney under threats. The operation took place in Freiburg, and after the transplant, the victim received nothing and remained enslaved. Authorities seized various documents during a raid on their property. They now face extradition proceedings.
