This marks the highest number of offers for an infrastructure project in recent years. The new junction is expected to significantly improve accessibility in the Cugir area, reduce travel times, and create new economic development opportunities. Notable bidders include major construction firms such as Strabag and Porr. The next step involves evaluating the submitted offers, with the junction set to be built south of Șibot at km 328+250 of the A1 motorway.
