A report from Autovit indicates that while interest in cars remains strong among Romanians in summer 2026, the market for both new and used vehicles has declined. Despite a decrease in registrations compared to the previous year, buyer interest on the platform has remained solid, with new cars gaining popularity. Used cars still dominate online traffic, accounting for about 95% of total ad views. However, new car registrations fell by 11.1% compared to summer 2025. SUVs continue to be the most preferred vehicle type, representing a significant portion of views and leads. The summer also saw the listing of exclusive models, including a Rolls-Royce Cullinan priced at 710,000 euros.
