A new AI model developed by British researchers can identify patterns linked to bladder cancer in medical records, potentially aiding early detection. The study analyzed data from nearly 70,000 patients and found that certain indicators could be recognized up to five years before diagnosis. The AI model, named PRECISE-AGZ, achieved an 85% accuracy rate in identifying patients with bladder cancer. However, researchers caution that the model is still in the research phase and not yet a medical test. Further validation is needed across different populations before widespread use.
