Inteligența Artificială ar putea identifica riscul de cancer de vezică urinară cu 5 ani înainte de diagnostic | Ce au descoperit cercetătorii britanici
A British AI model has identified patterns linked to bladder cancer in medical records, potentially aiding early detection. The study analyzed data from nearly 70,000 patients, revealing that certain indicators could be observed up to five years before diagnosis. The AI model, PRECISE-AGZ, accurately identified about 85% of bladder cancer cases and 91% of non-cancer cases. Researchers emphasize that while the model shows promise, it is still in the research phase and requires validation across different populations. The findings could lead to improved screening methods for bladder cancer, which currently lacks routine screening programs.
