Journalist Răzvan Dumitrescu criticized Mureșan for not adequately representing Romania in Brussels, noting that his discussions rarely addressed Romanian concerns. A meeting with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation highlighted issues such as pressure on NGOs and judicial independence in Romania. Mureșan, nominated as prime minister, has engaged only with PNL, USR, and UDMR, avoiding negotiations with AUR while expressing willingness to discuss with PSD.
