Întâlnirea Bolojan–Tănăsescu, în atenția Parlamentului. Comisia cere din nou explicații
The parliamentary committee investigating the secret meeting between former Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan and Constitutional Court President Simina Tănăsescu is nearing the end of its work. Both officials have not yet responded to invitations to testify, prompting the committee to reiterate its request. The meeting occurred shortly before the Constitutional Court was set to review challenges related to integrity laws, raising concerns about potential judicial interference. Legal expert Tonel Pop commented on the implications of their absence, suggesting it could lead to unfavorable conclusions for them. He emphasized the importance of transparency in state institutions to maintain public trust.
