Institutul „Elie Wiesel” a primit două imobile care vor găzdui Muzeul de Istorie a Evreilor și al Holocaustului

The Romanian government has approved a memorandum to transfer two properties owned by Transelectrica to the Elie Wiesel Institute for the establishment of the National Museum of Jewish History and the Holocaust in Romania. The properties, located in Bucharest, will be repurposed for the museum and necessary auxiliary spaces. The General Secretariat of the Government will oversee the administrative and legal procedures, which are expected to be completed within six months. This initiative aims to clarify the legal status of the properties and support the national objective of preserving historical memory and combating antisemitism.
