Romanian public institutions are enhancing their ability to operate independently of the power grid, including the Gorj County Public Finance Administration. The Craiova Regional Public Finance Directorate has initiated a procurement process for electric generators valued at approximately 322,314.06 lei. This procedure, published on July 30, 2026, aims to supply three generators for key financial institutions. The need for such equipment is underscored by the importance of maintaining continuous operations during power outages. While some procurement processes were initiated prior to the Cernavodă situation, it is suggested that institutions may have been alerted to potential energy crises earlier.
