Instituțiile din România, vulnerabile la atacuri informatice: Cyberint a trimis peste 1.300 de informări, inclusiv la ANCPI

The National Cyberint Center reported sending over 1,300 alerts to Romanian institutions about cybersecurity vulnerabilities. The discussion followed a ransomware attack on the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) that disrupted real estate transactions for nearly a month. Despite being warned about critical vulnerabilities since 2021, ANCPI did not respond adequately. The attack exploited weak passwords and outdated systems. Cybersecurity officials highlighted the lack of awareness and preparedness among public institutions, with many potentially at risk of similar attacks. ANCPI aims to resume full operations soon, but concerns about institutional security remain.
