„Instagramul chinezesc” care schimbă turismul. O singură postare poate umple un oraș de vizitatori

In Beijing, photographers compete to attract clients, particularly women in traditional costumes, who share their photos on Xiaohongshu, a popular Chinese app. This platform, often called the 'Chinese Instagram', is reshaping tourism in China by helping users discover destinations and plan itineraries. Last year, over 6.5 billion domestic trips were made in China, with Xiaohongshu boasting 350 million active users monthly. The app has popularized lesser-known businesses and unusual tourist spots, although sponsored posts can lead to dissatisfaction among users. Xiaohongshu is also preparing for a potential IPO in Hong Kong by 2026.
