Three companies have filed for insolvency against Bucharest Transport Company (STB) following a request from the mayor to avoid bankruptcy. The claims began on July 22, with RAMCO SRL leading the charge, citing debts of approximately 1.5 million lei. Two additional firms, ROMANIAN SECURITY SYSTEMS SRL and TERRA PALFINGER SRL, joined the proceedings. The city council approved the insolvency request, aiming to halt debt growth and penalties. An appointed judicial administrator will create a reorganization plan to manage STB's 3 billion lei debt, primarily owed to ANAF. The plan will focus on reducing expenses and ensuring creditor payments.
