The Master's program in Philosophy and Critical Thinking at the University of Bucharest aims to equip students with skills to differentiate between arguments and manipulation, recognize pseudoscience, and evaluate public information. Starting this fall, the curriculum focuses on contemporary debates, encouraging students to explore the foundations of truth and knowledge. Courses like Knowledge and Truth and Science and Pseudoscience will help students understand how to assess claims and discern scientific authority. Additionally, the program emphasizes the use of language in argumentation, with courses on philosophical analysis and rhetoric addressing themes such as irony and ambiguity.
