Romanian IT companies can apply online for a European program offering funds for innovative digital health solutions until December 10, 2026. The UNITE initiative, with a total budget of 20 million euros, aims to foster a digital health innovation ecosystem across Europe. The second call for interregional projects has allocated 6 million euros to support ambitious collaborations in digital health. This funding targets deep-tech innovations to ensure equitable health access and digital solutions to address workforce shortages in healthcare. Eligible organizations include startups, SMEs, and research entities, with a maximum funding of 250,000 euros per partner in Romania. An online information session is scheduled for September 30, 2026, and selected projects are expected to start in April 2027.
