INS: Transportul aerian de pasageri a crescut cu 7,8% în trimestrul al doilea din 2026

In the second quarter of this year, air travel in Romania increased by 7.8%, reaching 7.73 million passengers. The busiest airports were Henri Coandă in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Iași. The top international origins for passengers arriving in Romania included London Luton, Milan Bergamo, and Istanbul. For departures, the most popular destinations were also London Luton and Milan Bergamo. Italy, Germany, and the UK were the leading countries for both arrivals and departures.
