INS: Rețelele de apă și gaze au crescut în 2025
In 2025, Romania saw an increase in the distribution networks for drinking water and natural gas, with significant expansions reported. The total drinking water distributed was 806.01 million cubic meters, a slight decrease from 2024, while the length of sewage networks reached 53,461.3 kilometers. Natural gas distribution networks expanded to 52,407.9 kilometers, with a total volume of 7.634 billion cubic meters distributed, primarily for household use. Additionally, thermal energy distribution increased, and urban green spaces also saw growth.
