In the second quarter of 2026, new vehicle registrations for passenger transport decreased by 7.6% compared to the same period in 2025, while freight vehicle registrations fell by 4.5%. The share of new cars increased to 31.5%, with electric buses and minibuses making up 6.1% of the total stock. Notably, mopeds and motorcycles saw an 18.6% rise in registrations, while buses and minibuses dropped by 18.9%. Compared to the first quarter of 2026, there was a 4.5% increase in passenger vehicles and a 7.6% increase in freight vehicles. By the end of Q2 2026, 67.1% of registered vehicles complied with Euro 4, 5, or 6 standards.
