INS: Construcțiile din România au crescut cu 15,4% în primele opt luni. Avans de aproape 23% la clădirile rezidențiale

In Romania, construction work volume increased by 15.4% in the first eight months of 2026 compared to the previous year. Residential building projects saw a significant rise of 22.9%. Adjusted for working days and seasonality, the growth was 11.7%. New constructions grew by 18.7%, while maintenance and repairs rose by 10.9%. In August alone, construction volume surged by 40.5% year-on-year. Notably, new construction projects increased by 45.2%, and residential buildings saw a remarkable growth of 54.9%.
