Înmatriculările de plug-in hybrid au crescut cu 131% în septembrie

In Romania, plug-in hybrid car registrations surged by 131% in September 2026 compared to the previous year, capturing a 17% market share. Electric vehicles also saw a 16.6% increase, reaching an 8% market share. Despite an overall decline in new car registrations, electrified vehicles accounted for 64% of the market. BYD Seal U DM-i was the top plug-in hybrid model, while Tesla Model Y led in pure electric registrations. The data indicates a growing presence of Chinese manufacturers in the plug-in hybrid segment, with BYD and Chery among the top brands. Overall, the market for traditional gasoline and diesel vehicles is declining, highlighting a shift towards electrification.
