ING Bank România S1 2026: Profit în scădere cu 29%
ING Bank Romania reported a balanced growth in the first half of 2026, with total revenues reaching 2.1 billion lei, a 1.6% increase from 2025. However, the bank's gross profit fell by nearly 30% to 667.4 million lei due to a slowing economic growth and increased taxation. The bank's lending activity grew by 14.9%, while deposits rose by 5.4%. ING attracted 120,000 new clients, with 50,000 under 24 years old, and 95% of individual clients actively use its services. The bank also launched a digital energy efficiency simulator to help clients optimize energy consumption. Additionally, ING supported women entrepreneurs through the She’s Next program, awarding cash prizes to three finalists.
