The mayor reported multiple bids for several sections, indicating a positive trend in contractor participation. The most complex section, which includes tunnels, has received only one bid. The completion of the project may take up to four years. Additionally, the Romanian Parliament has approved European funding for the construction of a metro system in Cluj, which is progressing slowly. This funding approval strengthens the city's position in future EU budget negotiations.
