Inflația va continua să crească până la sfârșitul anului. Leul rămâne vulnerabil – economiști șefi - Economica.net

Inflation in Romania rose slightly in September, prompting economists to adjust their forecasts for the end of 2026. ING Bank anticipates modest inflation growth, while BCR predicts a 7% inflation rate by 2026. The consumer price index (CPI) reached 6.61% year-on-year, driven mainly by rising energy and fuel prices. BCR revised its end-of-year inflation forecast to 7% from 6.4%, citing stable electricity prices. The central bank may consider interest rate cuts if inflation falls below the reference rate early next year. The exchange rate is expected to reach 5.45 lei per euro within the next 12 months, reflecting ongoing economic pressures and political instability.
